ALL SONGS NOW ON YOUTUBE

You can now listen through all of "The Swift House Sessions", "The Vallejo Demos", and "Eleven Demos" on YouTube by going to this playlist or watching them below:

Also included is an unreleased instrumental called "Goodnight Earth" which was recorded between the two "demo" albums. If I come across any similar recordings (that I'm not too embarrassed by) I will likely upload them as well. Enjoy.

PICKING UP THE PAPERS..

It's been a while since I've posted anything newsworthy on here, but I'm excited to announce that I'm making my way up the coast of California right now to record in Seattle, Washington. I'll be recording an album entitled "Loomings" which has been kicking around for some time... As a matter of fact, I was up in Seattle four years ago to rehearse songs for the album. My friends, fellow musicians, and I will be picking up where we left off then and hopefully getting the majority of recording done, finishing anything else down in Los Angeles.

I have played most of the songs from "Loomings" live for years, solo or with a band. You can see and hear me perform some of them on OneNightMusic.com

FRONT PORCH PICKIN'

My friend Marshall Anderson from Old Woodside found out I could get by on a banjo and had me sit in on these videos. The songs are his, with Dees Stribling playing the washboard, xylophone and piano. I'm also playing the huge pipe organ in the last video - I'm out of frame and it's barely audible, but take my word for it.

"LOOMINGS" AMONG 12 FAVORITE VIDEOS OF '09

My live performance of the song "Loomings" has been chosen by the fine people at One Night Music as one of their 12 Favorite One Night Music Videos of 2009.

"Selected by Ryan Andersen - This is the third song from Adam Bianchi's session filmed on Valentine's Day 2009. As soon as he hit his first note a silence blanketed the room that I have not witnessed at any other session we've recorded. It was a silence nourished by pure awe at his music. Adam's music comes from an old soul, a reincarnation of an artist seasoned with decades of heartache. I still find myself at awe when I listen to Adam's music, and he very deservingly earns my pick as one of my top three songs of 2009."

Thanks Ryan!

SOLITUDE

Canyon Lake, TX - not quite the Pacific, but it will do.

"There is such a thing as creative solitude - a certain kind of loneliness out of which have risen the works of the creative spirits of the past. They were not afraid of being alone; they had learned how to use their loneliness." - Carl Sandburg
